Bangkok Hot Rod

Back from Bangkok!

Some good and bad news to update.
We were welcomed with friendly people over at Eak's Garage located at Chon Buri (I hope i got the spelling right). Not forgetting to show our appreciation allowing us to store our very own EG6-"K" which most known as "K300" over at youtube.

Back to the actual scene @ Bangkok Hot Rod. Over a year of renovation, after some horrid unforseen accident happened back there, its up and running for the annual Bangkok Hot Rod.

Tons of cars, ranging from Lsi, Esi, Eg, Ek, Accord, Civic & the well known Civic Type R(FD2R) were gathered there, not forgetting some old Honda models. If its not for the Hot Rod, it would be more like a Honda Meets.

Enough of other cars photo, i believe many are questioning where is the "K300" photos and what happened back there.

Almost after 1 year when "K300" was brought to Bangkok, it had not done any servicing or checking. Just a simple, cranking up of engine, slight rev-ing and switch off.

Okay okay..... results. I'm sure you're very curious about the result. We, did not get in any position. WHAT!?, you might be reassuring what I wrote was true.

During our first run to get time, tyres spun towards the left, forcing our very own Driver, Ah Han, had to counter steer all the way to the right. Something was not very right at then, but still. Ah han had to give it all as it was his glory as well as our glory at the point of time.

"K300" was pre-stage, stage and there goes the light turn green! To everyone fear, the car really steered all the way to its left and Ah Han had to counter steer all the way back right again.

1st & 2nd gear was not pull to what Ah Han had set it peak to and he shifted to 3rd, not even reaching the ending line, everybody could hear that he let go off the accelator. True enough, everything went wrong! Despite that, we managed to get a hefty timing of 13.10 with speed reaching line was 168.1 only!

1st, 2nd & 3rd gear wasn't rev high, plus the car was forcing itself to the left all the way, we managed to get the timing of 13.10

Fear of endangering driver's life, we called it a day. Car was brought back to where it was created, and we shall dominate what we supposed to this year, NEXT YEAR! Claiming back trophy!

Oh! Not forgetting Eak and his guy were interviewed by Option.Thailand!
